On farms and fertilizer plants abroad, a sophisticated organic fertilizer production line is leveraging the wisdom of multi-device collaboration to transform troublesome agricultural waste into high-quality fertilizer that nourishes the soil. Every step hides a clever trick for efficient conversion.

The first step in the production line is to break through with pretreatment equipment. Faced with piles of straw and livestock manure, a cage crusher first demonstrates its prowess. Its high-speed hammers shred the straw into fine particles, approximately 5 mm in size, to prevent subsequent fermentation from clumping. If the manure has too much moisture, a plate and frame filter press dehydrates it, keeping the moisture content at around 60%—a humidity level that is ideal for the production of livestock manure.Just enough to keep the microorganisms “fully active.” Subsequently, a double axis mixer adds fermentation agents in proportion, acting like a “nutrient blend” for the raw materials, ensuring even fermentation.

Next, the fermentation equipment enters “conversion mode.” Inside the sealed fermentation tanks, the temperature is precisely controlled at 55-65°C—a “golden range” that kills insect eggs and pathogens while allowing beneficial bacteria to rapidly multiply. Open-air composting used to take three months, but now it can be fully decomposed in just 20 days, a significant improvement in efficiency. The small amount of waste gas generated during the fermentation process is filtered by a biological deodorization tower, preventing pollution to the surrounding environment and meeting stringent environmental standards internationally.

Finally, deep processing equipment enhances fertilizer quality. A drum screen removes uncomposted impurities to ensure fertilizer purity. A rotary drum granulator transforms powder into round granules, facilitating mechanical spreading and reducing transportation losses. For specialty fertilizers, a trace element additive machine precisely blends in calcium, magnesium, sulfur, and other ingredients to meet the diverse needs of vegetables and fruit trees.
