The disc granulator boasts a simple structure and flexible operation, making it suitable for the continuous production of small particles. It is a key piece of equipment in industries such as compound fertilizer, feed, and mining. It is also widely used in organic fertilizer plants, compound fertilizer plants, sludge and waste treatment plants, and mining industries, primarily for agglomerating powdered materials into uniform granules.
The disc granulator is an important equipment in the fertilizer production line, and the disc granulator can be used together with fertilizer mixer machine, compost turning machine and other machines.
Working principle
The disc granulator consists of a tilted, rotating disc, a support, a transmission system, a spray system, and a scraper. During operation, powdered material enters the rotating disc through the feed inlet and rolls along the disc wall under the influence of centrifugal force and gravity. An appropriate amount of binder or water is added through the spray system, causing the material to gradually agglomerate into nuclei, which then roll and grow, ultimately forming granules that meet the desired specifications.
Features
By adjusting the disc speed and inclination, the particle size can be precisely controlled. It supports dry and wet granulation, and can quickly change the formula or adjust the process. The open structure is easy to clean and maintain, and is suitable for multi-variety production.
In addition, the bottom of the granulating disc is reinforced with multiple radiating steel plates, which is strong and durable; the thickened, heavier and sturdy base design does not require anchor bolts to fix it, and it runs smoothly. The main gear of the granulator adopts high-frequency quenching, which doubles its service life. The inside of the granulating disc is treated with anti-corrosion and is durable.
