With the large-scale development of the Malaysian oil palm industry, the pressure of handling massive amounts of oil palm processing waste continues to increase. In response to local environmental pollution control and green agriculture policies, a local company in Yong Peng has built a new agricultural and forestry waste organic fertilizer fermentation project. On April 2, 2025, the installation, commissioning, and trial operation of the complete Windrow Compost Turner windrow stack machine were completed, focusing on the resource recycling and reuse of oil palm waste.
Compared to trough-type compost turners, windrow stack turners have lower investment costs and wider site adaptability, making them ideal for small and medium-sized organic fertilizer processing plants and large-scale plantations in Southeast Asia. This equipment has been specially upgraded to address the characteristics of oil palm waste—coarse fiber, high moisture content, and easy caking—with its rollers providing uniform mixing and sufficient turning depth, continuously turning the entire stack to promote full aerobic fermentation, effectively eliminating fermentation odors and achieving environmentally friendly and harmless treatment.
Our overseas technical team provided full support throughout the equipment deployment, on-site commissioning, and operation training to ensure the equipment quickly reaches full production capacity and operates stably. This project successfully transformed oil palm waste into valuable resources, solving environmental pollution problems while forming a green closed-loop model of “planting—waste recycling—organic fertilizer return to the field,” becoming a benchmark case for the resource utilization of agricultural and forestry waste in the local area.
