On January 19, 2026, two rotary drum granulators from Qinggang County, Heilongjiang Province, were officially loaded and shipped to the project site after completing factory quality inspection. This is the first batch of rotary drum granulators shipped by our company to Northeast China in 2026, which will be put into use as core pelletizing equipment for the organic fertilizer production line in Qinggang County.
Project Background: The Urgent Need for Manure Resource Utilization in Qinggang Qinggang County is an important livestock breeding base in Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, with the scale of beef cattle and pig breeding continuously expanding. According to the “Qinggang County Livestock Development Plan (2026-2030),” the local area is accelerating the promotion of crop-livestock integration and manure resource utilization, aiming to achieve a livestock manure resource utilization rate of over 90% by 2030, creating a national benchmark for green livestock development. Previously, the “Qinggang County Hesheng Xinglong Agricultural and Livestock Harmless Treatment and Bio-organic Fertilizer Production Project” had been launched, planning to build four bio-organic fertilizer production lines with an annual output of 7,500 tons of bio-organic fertilizer. The delivery of these two drum granulators is a concrete step towards expanding organic fertilizer production capacity in Qinggang County.Equipment Features: Adapted to the Granulation Needs of Organic Fertilizer in Cold Regions
The drum granulator (also known as a rotary drum granulator) is a key piece of equipment for the production of compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer granules. It uses a rotating drum to agglomerate powdery materials into granules, combined with a spraying device for wetting and coagulation. This results in high granulation strength, good appearance quality, low energy consumption, and convenient operation and maintenance. Specifically designed for the harsh winters and short fermentation cycles of Qinggang County, the equipment underwent targeted optimization before leaving the factory: the drum body uses thickened low-temperature resistant steel plates and an anti-stick lining; the motor and reducer are equipped with low-temperature start-up features to ensure stable operation even in environments as cold as -20 to -30 degrees Celsius. Two rotary drum granulators will be used on two separate organic fertilizer granulation lines, working together to transform fermented and composted material into finished pellets.
Significance of Delivery: A Closed Loop from “Manure” to “Black Soil Grain” After the rotary drum granulators are put into operation, livestock and poultry manure from local farms in Qinggang County, after fermentation, composting, crushing, and mixing, will be granulated using these two machines and transformed into commercial organic fertilizer. This organic fertilizer will be used for the planting of local fresh corn, rice, and other crops, realizing a closed-loop cycle of “livestock farming—manure—fertilizer—planting.” For Qinggang, this is not only an environmental protection project for manure treatment but also a practical measure to protect black soil and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers.
The delivery of the two rotary drum granulators to Qinggang County, Heilongjiang Province on January 19, 2026, marks the beginning of the equipment installation phase for the Qinggang organic fertilizer production line. With the commissioning of these two machines, Qinggang County will gain another stable granulation capacity for the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure.
