Therefore, in order to solve the problem of manure, the city increased the utilization of livestock and poultry manure resources, invested 5.65 million yuan, took the manure generated by breeding as the entry point, collected livestock manure from farms and surrounding farmers' homes, and went through decomposition, curing, fermentation, sterilization, deodorization and other processes, so that the original unavoidable manure was converted into organic fertilizer that is beneficial to agricultural production. The relevant technical staff of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Linxia City told reporters that in order to ensure the quality of organic fertilizers produced, they regularly test the nutrient content, heavy metal content and harmful substance content in fertilizers, so that fertilizers can turn waste into treasure and boost agricultural development.
